You'll work with underground mining equipment and apply both electrical and mechanical expertise to keep critical mining systems running safely and reliably. Shift: 5x2- Monday to Friday 8h/day
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 50% travel within Canada and the USA
Relocation: This position does not offer relocationKey Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and code specifications
Install, maintain, test, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
Diagnose and repair motors, generators, alternators, batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical controls
Apply electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records
Ensure quality standards are met and work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications/Requirements

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician required; dual-ticket an asset
1-3 years of related industrial or heavy equipment experience
Working knowledge of PLC controls, wiring, and electrical theory
Ability to troubleshoot, make sound decisions, and work effectively under pressure
Physically able to safely lift 50 lbs
Able to access mine sites without restrictions
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to travel up to 50% depending on customer needs
