
2026 Winter - GRM, Risk Analyst - Enterprise Risk Reporting Intern (4 Months)

- Support the identification and assessment of enterprise-wide Top and Emerging Risks, by performing ground up research and analysis, assessing their impact on RBC’s strategic goals and business model, and assisting in the development of presentations and white papers.
- Monitor global economic and political events for new trends and developments, and contributing to team analyses and publications.
- Assist in the development and optimization of processes, key risk reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with individuals across Risk Management, Finance, Corporate Treasury and the Business Segments to derive business insights on key enterprise risks.
- Produce well-written, error-free presentations effectively and on a timely basis.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the RBC Connect page, SharePoint site, network drive, training maps, and process documentation.
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian co-op program from a post-secondary institution with a focus on finance or commerce.
- General understanding and awareness of current global events, emerging technologies, and basic economic concepts.
- Excellent writing and research skills, strong interpersonal skills and conceptual thinker and the ability to understand and explain complex concepts.
- Strong MS Office skills – PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, VBA, Macros), Word, Access.
- Data Management & Reporting (visualization)
- Programming – querying of data (SQL, Python)
- Strong relationship management and team-oriented approach.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make logical or implied connections from a vast array of information.
- Ability to perform under time constraints.strong attention to detail.
- Working towards an accounting/financial designation or registered in a risk management program.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg and other market sources.
- Confidence in working autonomously or as member of a team.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities across several assignments and prioritize effectively.

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
