- Develop and maintain cryptographic frameworks and guiding principles for on-premises and cloud environments
- Define cryptographic requirements and monitor compliance across the enterprise
- Design and implement processes to detect and remediate non-compliance with cryptographic standards
- Collaborate with asset owners to resolve detected cryptographic issues
- Address audit findings related to cryptographic controls and ensure timely remediation
- Partner with peer teams to develop technical specifications for encryption of data at rest and in transit
- Identify enterprise-level cryptographic and data security gaps and perform impact and stakeholder analysis
- Recommend and guide remediation activities for cryptographic issues
- Produce clear documentation and deliver presentations to influence stakeholders
- Apply base-level expertise in cryptography to support governance and technical initiatives
- Cryptographic protection of data at rest and in transit
- Development and maintenance of cryptography policies, procedures, standards, and guides
- Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) across various databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, MongoDB)
- Protection of sensitive data in public cloud environments
- Implementation of symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods
- PKI management (x509 certificates, SSH, ADCS, Venafi, TLS, TLS cipher suites)
- Key lifecycle management for symmetric and asymmetric keys
- Post-Quantum Cryptography readiness and planning
- Cryptographic agility initiatives across platforms
