Commercial Account Manager - Transportation

- Act as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Provide guidance and recommendations on coverage, policy changes, and renewals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within internal systems and documentation tools
- Prepare applications, certificates, binders, and other policy documentation for insurers
- Liaise with underwriters and insurance carriers on new business, renewals, and endorsements
- Monitor and follow up on claims activity with adjusters as needed
- Update insurance summaries to reflect current coverage and client requests
- Manage transportation accounts, including associated financing arrangements
- Stay organized and current with workload, supporting team members when required
- Follow established workflows and contribute to process improvements
- Participate in team initiatives and attend scheduled meetings
- Active General Level 1 or Level 2 Insurance License
- Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Professional, positive approach when working with clients and colleagues
- Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with Epic or similar broker management systems would be an asset
- Background in commercial lines, particularly transportation
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
