This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful role supporting a dynamic portfolio of commercial construction clients, while working alongside a team that values initiative, innovation, and strong client relationships.As a Commercial Account Manager – Construction, you will take ownership of a book of business, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and a key liaison with insurers. You’ll play a critical role in delivering tailored risk solutions, managing renewals, and driving marketing strategies that ensure competitive, comprehensive coverage.Day in the Life
  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial construction clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
  • Lead the renewal process including marketing, negotiating, and placement of risks
  • Analyze coverage needs and provide strategic recommendations
  • Prepare client documentation including proposals, summaries, and policy reviews
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance across all client files
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Skills and Experience
  • Level 2 General Insurance License (required)
  • 5+ years of Commercial Account Management experience
  • Experience supporting construction-focused accounts is a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-driven, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brokerage systems
