The Account Executive - Strategic Accounts develops and maintains long-term relationships with construction companies and other key clients, acting as a strategic partner to ensure signage solutions are compliant, on-brand, and delivered efficiently across multiple projects and locations.Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development, focusing on the construction sector while supporting opportunities in other industries, providing end-to-end signage solutions from corporate and yard branding to job site safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with operations, facilities, property management, and site leadership to ensure signage is compliant, well-maintained, and delivered efficiently across all projects and locations.
- Lead RFPs, bids, contract negotiations, and service agreements for multi-project and multi-site clients.
- Oversee reactive and scheduled maintenance programs on active job sites.
- Prepare quotes and proposals for service work, retrofits, and signage upgrades.
- Provide consultative guidance on compliance requirements, permitting processes, and long-term signage lifecycle planning.
- Partner closely with internal operations and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting to monitor pipeline activity, project progress, and growth opportunities.
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and construction trade shows.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development
- Experience selling into construction companies is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-project accounts
- Understanding of construction environments, site operations, and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized, responsive, and customer-focused
- Knowledge of permitting, building systems, or service contracts is considered an asset
