After nearly a decade of trusted community care, the clinic is expanding and seeking an Office & Patient Care Coordinator to join their team.
This role blends front office leadership with patient care support, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, patients feel cared for, and practitioners have the structure they need to deliver excellent treatment.🦷 Your Role: Keep the Office Running, Keep the Patients Smiling
In this position, you’ll be at the center of it all — welcoming patients, supporting clinical flow, and keeping operations on track. Responsibilities include:Patient Experience & Communication
- Greet patients warmly, register arrivals, and confirm/update personal and medical information.
- Answer phone, email, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage follow-up communications to ensure patients feel supported beyond their appointment.
- Book, adjust, and confirm appointments to maximize clinical efficiency.
- Proactively manage the daily schedule to reduce wait times and improve patient flow.
- Coordinate between denturists, technicians, and support staff to keep treatment cases on track.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Submit insurance claims and predeterminations (including CDCP and AccertaWorks) and verify patient coverage.
- Enter and track clinic expenses in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in digital and paper formats.
- Ensure the reception area is professional, clean, and welcoming.
- Uphold clinic policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to a respectful, team-focused culture through clear communication and collaboration.
- Minimum 1 year of dental office/reception experience (required)
- Knowledge of dental insurance systems, including CDCP, claims, and predeterminations
- Experience with dental scheduling/billing software
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping tools (asset)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail with a professional, discreet approach

This position is designed for stability, growth, and impact:
- Competitive hourly rate: $24.00–$28.00/hour, based on experience
- Day shifts: Monday to Friday - finishing at 2 pm on Fridays so that you can get a head start on your weekend
