- Salary range for Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator between $75,000 and $105,000 USD annually, based on experience
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver and document OSHA-required safety training; educate employees on chemical safety, hazardous materials handling, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; lead accident investigation meetings and support supervisors with root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations through management of programs like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazardous waste disposal, and emergency response planning.
- Lead and support site-wide safety projects, including maintaining the chemical SDS database, coordinating tank inspections, updating safety documentation (ConformIt, guidelines, handbooks), and driving the Safety Pillar initiatives.
- Represent the site during safety audits and serve as a liaison with corporate to align local practices with broader safety and environmental health initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software tools
