We dairy you!Agropur is looking for a transportation and fleet performance specialist to join its team in St-Hubert.Reporting to the transportation and fleet Management director, the transportation and fleet performance specialist will be responsible for logistics compliance, the invoicing process, carrier management, compliance with standards and work processes, and transportation and fleet performance measurement tools. With in-depth knowledge of our SAP TM system, customer policies, and transportation operations, the transportation and fleet performance specialist will play a key role in implementing best practices and standardizing processes within the national transportation and fleet management team.How Agropur invests in YOU:Recognition of years of service in calculating vacation time.Flexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine service.Employee assistance program.Opportunity to invest in you (Career Path, etc.).Pension plan including employer contributions.Salary range 005: 82 600$ to 103 200$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)What’s involved in this role:More specifically, the responsibilities of the transport and fleet performance specialist are as follows:Identify opportunities for process improvement and/or cost reduction.Serve as the single point of contact for cost reduction and optimization projects involving transportation.Be responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation.Be responsible for ensuring that all transportation activities comply with customer policies and laws and regulations, including carrier complaint records.Be the single point of contact for the end-of-month reporting process. (Seek to understand all budget variances and provide explanations accordingly in collaboration with the transportation manager).Organize and facilitate all carrier business reviews.Be responsible for the billing process and the accuracy of carrier charges.Be the backup for the TM super-user and provide other operational support as needed.What you need to join our teamBachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or another relevant field.3 to 5 years of experience in operations management and process improvement in the transportation sector.Strong knowledge of Lean principles.Experience working in a SAP / Oracle environment.Strong communicator, detail-oriented, structured, facilitator, with solid analytical and systems skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (English is required to collaborate with colleagues in other Canadian provinces).We dairy you!
