- Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date.
- Preparing approval documents, including all supporting materials
- Use ERP system to process orders and assign equipment to different areas of the company.
- Follow up with orders to ensure timely delivery, as well as supporting documentation is completed to pay.
- Follow up open PO reporting to ensure orders close in a timely manner.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and issues, including concerns and order escalations
- Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.
- Providing equipment administration support.
- Practicing PCL safety practices.
- Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities.
- Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with clients.
- Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
