- Lead project management: define technical programs, allocate resources, supervise teams, budgets, schedules, and quality controls, ensuring client objectives are met.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, the project team, and, when required, regulatory agencies.
- Prepare proposals: develop execution strategies, budgets, and schedules for industrial and mining projects.
- Drive impact assessments: identify environmental and social impacts, coordinate subject-matter experts, produce reports, and interpret results in line with applicable standards.
- Act as Environmental Lead and reinforce continuous implementation of quality assurance programs, ethics, and compliance policies.
Years of experience: 10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in environmental consulting.
Technical skills:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or eligibility for CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is an asset.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Strong knowledge of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental standards, regulations, and guidelines applicable to permitting across project stages, as well as to environmental and social impact assessments in Québec, Ontario, and at the federal level.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
- Strong coordination and multidisciplinary project management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, and sound professional judgment.
- High rigor, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Strong aptitude for communicating and translating technical issues for diverse audiences.
