With over 5,000 highly trained clinicians and 370+ locations nationwide, we continue to grow organically and through acquisitions.We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) based out of Ontario with experience working within Accident Benefits insurance, healthcare, or motor vehicle accident (MVA) environments. This role focuses on managing and expanding key relationships within the insurance and auto claims ecosystem while building and developing a sales territory across Eastern Canada.The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for key insurance partners, driving growth, strengthening relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across Lifemark clinics.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Account & Insurance Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key insurance and MVA-related partners (e.g., insurers, claims organizations, auto insurance stakeholders).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with AB insurance stakeholders, positioning Lifemark as a trusted partner in recovery and the claims journey.
  • Act as a key liaison between insurers, clinics, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving insurance practices within the MVA space.
Territory Development & Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for Ontario, identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the insurance and MVA landscape.
  • Drive growth by expanding existing partnerships and identifying new referral and contract opportunities.
  • Leverage market intelligence, client insights, and competitive analysis to identify untapped opportunities and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to align solutions with insurer partner needs.
Relationship Building & Business Development
  • Proactively engage with insurance partners through regular meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
  • Build credibility by understanding client priorities, claims processes, and return-to-function goals.
  • Strengthen partnerships by ensuring delivery of consistent value and aligning Lifemark services with insurer objectives.
Operational Excellence & Claims Optimization
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as referral volumes, treatment timelines, recovery outcomes, and client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve claims flow, reduce delays, and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Partner with clinics and internal teams to enhance operational workflows and improve service delivery for insurer clients.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and technology-driven solutions to increase efficiency.
SLA, KPI & Performance Management
  • Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to customer expectations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on account performance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clinic teams to provide coaching, training, and tools that support performance improvement and service excellence.
  • Identify and address gaps in service delivery, ensuring alignment with partner expectations.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in AB insurance/MVA claims, or related healthcare/rehabilitation partnerships.
  • Strong background in account management and/or sales territory development.
  • Experience working with insurers, claims adjusters, or similar stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive insights, strategy, and performance improvements.
  • Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, or clinic-based environments is an asset.
  • Familiarity with RFP processes is considered an asset but not required.
