Role and ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement solutions for mission-critical systemsDefine platform strategy and technical roadmap for cloud infrastructureDrive organizational adoption of SRE/DevOps practices (e.g., error budgets, automation SLAs)Lead cross-functional initiatives (site reliability, cost optimization, platform evolution)Mentor mid-level engineers and establish team knowledge-sharing frameworksDevelop self-healing systems through advanced automation and AI/ML integrationOwn platform resilience: Implement chaos engineering, disaster recovery, and SLO-driven designReduce toil through platform abstractions and developer toolingSet observability standards (metrics, tracing, logging) across the organizationManage mission-critical on-call rotations with escalation authoritySkills and Qualifications8+ years (senior) / 10+ years (staff) in infrastructure rolesMulti-cloud mastery (AWS/Azure/GCP) with architecture certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Pro)Deep expertise in Kubernetes ecosystems (Karpenter, ArgoCD, service meshes)Proven track record in designing scalable IaC pipelines and GitOps workflowsAdvanced observability implementation (distributed tracing, anomaly detection)Experience with FinOps and cost-optimization frameworksTechnical leadership: Drive platform decisions, vendor evaluations, and team upskillingCross-functional influence: Partner with backend services teams on reliability and performanceIncident management: Lead post-mortems and systemic improvementsThe salary range for this role is expected to be between $113,900 to $147,400 and reflects base salary only.
