Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Project Manager in St. John’s, NL.Located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. 20+ years of progressive experience in the management of major capital works projects, particularly in and oil and gas or marine environment.
Success managing engineering, procurement, and construction projects with budgets exceeding $100 million
Deep understanding of Project Management principles, including cashflow analysis, earned value progress reporting and contract dispute resolution
Experience leading multi-disciplined teams in the delivery of major projects including overall supervision of the PMT
Experience in establishing and working on an appropriate gated decision-making process for major investments
Ability to understand technical challenges and provide guidance for their effective resolution
Thorough understanding of Risk Management techniques
Experience in effective partnering with large service and supply companies to deliver complex pieces of infrastructure
Eligibility for registration as a Profession Engineer with PEGNL
