Moving beyond compliance, we truly value the experience and knowledge brought to our Indigenous partnerships.We are looking for a motivated person who is committed to growing their professional career at Procon while gaining valuable knowledge and experience.Project Details:Based at our project in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, this will be a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation opportunity. Preference will be given to those who reside in Northern Territories.Responsibilities:The Warehouse Attendant on our remote project in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all goods and materials. Daily duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Physically receiving all goods and organizing it in the correct location in the warehouse
  • Packing and shipping goods out, including completing all the necessary paperwork
  • Receiving goods in our inventory system as required
  • Completing cycle counts as required
  • Working outside in delivering to / organizing the seacans when required
  • Following all policies and processes at the mine site and underground
  • Always performing the role safely and ensures Health & Safety is the number one priority
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • 1-3 years warehouse experience
  • Experience in a mining environment preferred
  • Experience on a computerised inventory system
  • Microsoft Excel experience would be an asset
  • Forklift or Bobcat experience would be an asset
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. repetitively and on a regular basis
  • Experience working with a variety of crews and adapts well to working with others
  • Dependable and able to commit to a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation
  • Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high-performing team

If this position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 14 days on site, 14 days off site.
