- Minimum 2 years of experience working on mountain bikes including but not limited to servicing suspension, hydraulic brakes, drivetrains, headsets, bottom brackets and wheel building.
- Detailed understanding of mountain bike set-up, components, tools, service techniques and part compatibility.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and written communications skills.
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reasonable understanding of Microsoft Office and computerized Point-of-Sale systems.
- Confident, self-motivated and able to maintain an outgoing, positive attitude at all times.
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service (external and internal customers).
- A passion for mountain biking and the cycling community.
- Diagnose, maintain and repair a large rental bike fleet as well as the bikes of guests.
- Effectively diagnose bike issues and communicate them with customers and co-workers in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain accurate service records for rental bikes and customer work orders, ensuring they are stored according to Sun Peaks Resort LLP (SPRLLP) guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide exceptional service to all resort guests and employees through consistent, high-quality bike maintenance and repair.
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to according to SPRLLP guidelines and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all SPRLLP policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook.
