We have a challenging opportunity for a university student available for a 12-month co-op term (Jan 2026 to Dec 2026). The successful candidate will report to a senior engineering mentor and will apply sound engineering skills to a variety of electronic design engineering assignments.Responsibilities. Communicate effectively using basic RF terminology
. Set up and perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize test data, and present data to the design team
. RF design support of RFICs and multi-chip modules
. Schematic capture, simulation, layout, verification, and EM analysis of RFICs
. Lab prototype debugging, tuning, and measurementRequired Experience and Skills. Must be currently enrolled in a BSEE, MSEE, or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering
. Must be able and available to work on-site from Jan 2026 to Dec 2026
. Must have a basic knowledge of analog and/or RF electronic circuits and principles
. Must have a suitable background in RF design or concepts
. Must have knowledge or interest in RF test equipment and techniquesDesired Experience and Skills. Familiarity with Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, or similar design tools
. Basic understanding of high-frequency circuit design
. Basic familiarity with RF circuit blocks such as LNAs and PAs
. Self-starter with a strong work ethic
. Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
. Strong communication and time-management skills#LI-DJ1The typical pay range for an intern is currently CAD $25.00 - $44.00 per hour.
