Acting as the senior representative of EGIS within an integrated delivery environment, this role is accountable for aligning technical excellence, program performance, and partner collaboration to achieve successful outcomes across all phases of delivery.Operating within a complex, multi-partner environment, the Senior Project Director ensures project execution reflects best practices in integrated rail delivery, stakeholder alignment, and alliance-based governance, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, innovation, and long-term operational readiness. This role oversees multidisciplinary teams spanning infrastructure, stations, rail systems, operations integration, and program management, working closely with Alliance partners to drive collective performance and shared accountability.Executive Leadership & Alliance Integration
- Serve as the senior executive lead representing EGIS within the Alliance leadership structure.
- Contribute to joint governance forums, executive leadership teams, and integrated decision-making processes.
- Champion a “one-team” culture, fostering collaboration, transparency, and shared ownership of outcomes across all partners.
- Provide strategic direction to ensure alignment between technical delivery, program objectives, and Alliance performance targets.
- Support consensus-based decision-making and proactive resolution of strategic or commercial challenges.
- Establish and oversee execution of the Program Execution Strategy, Integrated Delivery Plan, and Risk & Interface Management Framework.
- Ensure alignment with collaborative delivery principles, integrated assurance processes, and program-wide governance requirements.
- Provide executive oversight across infrastructure, rail systems, stations, and operations readiness to ensure integrated delivery.
- Chair internal leadership reviews to maintain alignment between EGIS teams and Alliance objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation through lessons learned, digital delivery practices, and performance optimization.
- Provide executive oversight of commercial performance within an Alliance environment, including cost management, risk allocation, and value optimization.
- Support development and monitoring of key performance indicators aligned with Alliance outcomes.
- Guide resource strategy and workforce planning to ensure delivery capability across all phases of the program.
- Collaborate with Alliance partners to manage scope evolution, interface risks, and program-level decision impacts.
- Lead a large, multidisciplinary rail and transit team delivering planning, design, systems integration, and program management services.
- Promote strong integration between Canadian leadership and international technical expertise.
- Mentor senior project leaders and contribute to leadership development within the program.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence consistent with major transit programs.
- Represent EGIS in executive-level reviews, integrated planning workshops, and Alliance governance forums.
- Support alignment between technical delivery, community and stakeholder considerations, and long-term operational outcomes.
- Ensure communication flows effectively across partner organizations, enabling informed decision-making and program transparency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Transportation Infrastructure, or related discipline.
- 20+ years of experience delivering complex transportation infrastructure programs, with significant leadership roles in rail and transit.
- Demonstrated experience in executive program leadership, governance, and integrated delivery environments.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams within complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Exceptional strategic leadership, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects under collaborative delivery models such as Alliance, Progressive Design-Build, or similar integrated frameworks.
- Experience on major LRT, metro, or regional rail programs.
- Familiarity with Canadian transit agency standards and urban transportation programs.
- International delivery experience within global engineering environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent executive-level certification.
