- Perform maintenance procedures according to the established SOP and PM schedule, coordinating parts and service, as required.
- Coordinate routine maintenance with Operations to ensure that, whenever possible, maintenance work scheduling does not disrupt production scheduling needs.
- Build & grow existing preventative maintenance program while maintaining a proactive approach to Plant and Equipment maintenance & repair.
- Determining the required parts on each work order in the backlog; verifying parts are available and ordering parts as necessary
- Generate material purchase orders and agreed delivery dates
- Determining the need for special support equipment and orders/schedules as necessary
- Determining and controlling the work order planned start date and “Approved” status.
- Review completed PMs and update agreed changes to parts list and tasks
- Review completed Calibrations
- Conversion of the output of maintenance program development to structured work templates
- Maintaining and updating work order / event templates
- Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Verifying resource requirements and availability before scheduling planned work and determine work orders with appropriate status.
- Generating and reviewing the schedule with Maintenance leaders to refine details surrounding current conditions and Operation to incorporate operational concerns and limitations. Modify schedules if required.
- Releasing all work orders daily for dissemination to the maintenance leads and trades, ensuring all identified resources are assigned to open work orders
- Interacting daily with Maintenance Leader to ensure schedules are adhered to and modified as necessary
- Review of completed work orders for recording of required data, planned vs. actual; hours, tools, materials, and safety requirements to identify any required changes or improvements
- Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Maintain an assortment of common spare parts.
- Coordinate, recommend and/or initiate purchase orders for parts, equipment or spare parts inventory according to Company's purchasing guidelines.
- Complete and maintain current training and awareness of related legislated codes, EH&S procedures, SOPs and GMP requirements. Complete ongoing training to maintain certification and respond to technology change at the Site, as well as improving knowledge of facilities, systems and equipment.
- Ensure that maintenance or repair of Production Equipment, Site Facilities, Systems and Utilities are carried out in a timely manner.
- Respond to "off hours" emergencies, as required and provide essential services coverage during site shutdowns.
- Follow Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations and report any workplace injuries or accidents immediately.
- Adhere to the policies and guidelines set out in the Alphora Employee Handbook.
- Responsible for compliance with GMP guidelines and ensuring that all GMPs and SOPs are followed.
- Work harmoniously with all fellow employees.
- Travel between operating facilities.
- Education: College 2-year diploma in engineering or related field
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office functions particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience: Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply
