We are providing a fully funded opportunity for select individuals to upgrade their Class 5 driver license to Class 3 driver license, enabling them to join Ledcor and support winter and summer operations across the Province.This training opportunity will provide a paid opportunity to help you acquire your Class 3 license and develop the skills necessary to become a safe and competent winter plow operator. This opportunity may lead to full-time or seasonal employment. The minimum qualifications include:
  • 18+ years of age
  • Possess a minimum Class 5 License without restrictions and a clean driver’s abstract
  • Able to pass an Alberta medical exam and vision screening exam (necessary to obtain Class 3 license)
  • Safety-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Industry standard Drug and Alcohol testing applies
Approved applicants must commit to a minimum employment term. Highway maintenance includes working in various weather patterns.
