- Hours: Project dependent. Overtime is required during the busy season.
- Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Finish Grader Operator
- Able to finish sub-grade stabilize, gravel and other surfaces within sub-centimeter tolerances in preparation for asphalt
- Ability to work safely and always stay alert to surroundings
- Able to cut grade against concrete, grade stakes, asphalt, and other jobsite structures
- Experience with other construction equipment considered an asset
- Ability to communicate with grade checker and act upon information received
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Assist foremen of any issues or repairs required on assigned equipment
- Assist crew with all other site activities as required
- Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties
- Ability to withstand working outside on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions
- Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with, the principles of the company's Code of Ethics.
- Use of personal protection equipment is required.
- Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear required when working outdoors.
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol policy, including testing requirements.
- Maintain positive company image.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy civil earthworks, construction.
- Proven experience with technical specifications, grade plans and building roads.
- Experience working on all types of ground conditions, including soft ground.
- Ability to finish or trim would be an asset.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
- CSTS 2020 or SCOT, and WHMIS 2015 required.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.
- Leadership for Safety Excellence. (LSE Proficiency level certified)
