GTA area company seeks CPA controller to cover a 6 month mat leave (with possible extension). Reports to the CEO. Growing business - launching new products and scaling - where your work makes a difference.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Taxation and Compliance - returns, closing, SR&ED, compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards.
Reporting and Operations - monthly closings, general ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting, margins, costs of production.
Improving processes and supporting strategy - looking for funding.
Leadership - helping junior staff and report to C-Suite..

REQUIREMENTS:

CPA with min 5 years' experience, best in multi-entity or manufacturing.
Able to do reconciliations, close, report.
In depth knowledge of GST/HST, ASPE, and corporate tax.
Able to work independently and with other departments in busy, fast paced environment.
Financial Leader - multi-entity operations, compliance, tax.

$90K - $110K per annum salaryStarting date - asap.
