Job DescriptionA global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in digital systems to support major capital projects in pharmaceutical/biotech environments. This individual will be responsible for guiding the team through project execution and delivery implementation of new digital systems associated with large-scale capital builds and ensuring seamless alignment across engineering, construction, and other key stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally with a globally dispersed systems deployment team and guide stakeholders through phased project execution.Responsibilities:
  • This particular opening is for a project that is nearing execution phase, so the successful candidate will be required to understand the requirements, continue to drive planning efforts and refine the scope and estimates for digital systems as needed on large capital projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, IT, construction) to establish alignment and refine the project’s baseline schedule, estimates, resource plans, software and hardware.
  • Work closely with a global digital systems deployment team.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital project management or business systems analysis within pharmaceutical biotech capital projects.
  • Proven track record supporting digital systems planning/deployment through to implementation on CAPEX projects.
  • Clear understanding of how digital systems interface with construction and engineering deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating projects across multi-disciplinary and global teams.
  • Self-sufficient, external consultant mindset – must be capable of delivering with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to support phased capital planning processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to align global and regional stakeholders.
