- Facilitates information between the client and FET, effectively communicating across all FET business departments ensuring clear understanding of the client’s plans, strategies and activities related to Drilling Handling Tools/Capital Equipment/Mud Pump Consumables product categories.
- Fosters executive to upper-level relationships with the strategic client for purposes of business expansion, issue resolution, knowledge sharing, strategic initiatives, and product development.
- Develop and execute strategies for increasing the sales of FET Drilling and Handling Tools/Capital Equipment/Mud Pump Consumables product categories.
- Identify areas of opportunity with Drilling Contractors, OFS companies, supply stores, distributors, and Operators.
- Stay abreast of competitors/new competitive products introduced – relaying improvements required for FET products.
- Able to produce Sales Forecast and Regional Sales Plan for assigned area.
- Process and follow up on customer quotes and order requests.
- Facilitate return requests and Field Products including verifying administration of related.
- Knowledge and understanding of customer requirements per specifications.
- On call after hours may be required.
- Adjusts and/or coordinates discrepancies to customer billing or service rendered, referring discrepancies of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
- Responsible for accurate and timely order maintenance including data management in CRM system.
- Local and international travel required.
- Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of industry products and services, customer requirements and competitive market.
- Background in Handling Tools/Capital Equipment/Mud Pump Consumables desired.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Assertive attitude and competitive nature to win work.
- Must have solid commercial background in Sales and Selling to Drilling and/or OFS customers.
- Strong background in negotiating with clients – including understanding of common commercial practices in the oilfield.
- Detail oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to travel primarily in Canada, but routinely to USA as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but industry experience will be considered.
- 7+ years of commercial experience with OFS, Drilling, and/or Drilling Products.
- Prior experience related to Handling Tools/Capital Equipment/Mud Pumps Consumables strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience with CRM platform(s) required.
- Verifiable Sales Experience with verifiable history required.
- Class 5 Driver’s license with no suspensions or major infractions in the last 3 years required.
