Desjardins’s IT Foundations teams provide ongoing support to a growing number of projects. The 16 foundations and teams provide support for the use of cross-sector IT capacities aligned with enterprise architecture targets and the needs of Desjardins Group’s business sectors. Our mission is to modernize and simplify Desjardins’s IT landscape by promoting security, stability and compliance. Working in the Foundations, Digital Experience, Process Automation and Cross-Sector Functions Department, your role is to help the unit manager supervise approximately 20 professionals. You support talent development and employee engagement by creating a positive, motivating work environment where everyone’s contribution is valued. You have functional authority over the team and manage individual performance. You support management objectives by optimizing resource allocation and assisting with strategy development. More specifically, you will be required to:Promote continuous improvement of practices and deliverables by encouraging innovation and efficiency within teamsEnsure progress on capacities and accelerators by facilitating the coordination and delivery of commitments in collaboration with the train manager, scrum master and product managerSupport financial management by monitoring budgets, defining business earnings and ensuring economic targets are metCommunicate the strategic vision by conveying executive needs to professionals and vice-versaOversee talent development by encouraging skill growth, personal reflection and autonomy among team membersDefine and implement the unit's service offer by overseeing the various projects and activities under your responsibilityManage performance and satisfaction by monitoring objectives, deliverable quality, and relationships with clients and partnersPlay a key HR role by carrying out duties related to hiring, performance management, disciplinary measures and ongoing trainingWhat we offer*Competitive salary and annual bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment
