- Support the Director in building out an End-of-day function within Credit Investment Operations.
- Act as key EOD control person to ensure accurate holdings, pricing, cash, and performance for our Credit Investments team. Provide valuable insights and commentary when necessary.
- Ensure accuracy of trade tickets and accounting entries.
- Maintain an ongoing effective working relationship with internal investment staff and external asset managers to ensure issues are discussed and resolved and financial controls and reporting requirements are met.
- Continually strive for operational excellence; seek ways to streamline processes, create operational efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced controls and data integrity (with a focus on using Gen AI tools).
- Ensure process documentation is kept up to date.
- Prioritize workload in a timely fashion to meet deadlines.
- Comfort with working EOD hours (11:30am - 7:30pm) and providing holiday coverage.
- Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities.
- Interest in in Gen AI tools (including data parsing and scraping) and overall comfort with data. Passion for improving process with technology.
- Solid understanding of debt instruments and investment accounting.
- Solid prioritization and organizations skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or other related discipline preferred.
