- Program parts from various CAD files based on customer specifications.
- Develop cutting and bending plans adhering to in-house standards.
- Review drawings to address design constraints, inconsistencies, and geometry considerations.
- Optimize laser cutting processes including path, part orientation, and waste management.
- Enhance sheet metal forming processes by optimizing bend sequences, tool usage, and machine selection.
- Drive continuous improvement of cutting parameters and production timetables to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and schedule laser and brake production, accommodating changes and urgent requests effectively.
- Communicate with estimation staff and clients throughout project lifecycles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Nesting and Bending Software.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP job tracking software; experience with Bysoft7 is a plus.
- Completion of secondary education; some college education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal and custom fabrication.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and create blueprints.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
