- Strategic Business Partner & Influencer: Act as the subject matter expert for our business stakeholders to shape spending decisions, challenge requirements, and drive smarter investments across multiple categories, including: technology, travel & entertainment, finance, professional services, fleet & equipment, and human resources.
- Supplier Governance and Performance: Partner with key suppliers to unlock productivity, enable revenue, and drive innovation.
- Category Strategy & Spend Optimization: Develop supplier consolidation, tail spend reduction and working capital optimization strategies that can be scaled across Canada.
- Contract Negotiation & Financial Modelling: Lead the development of clear, outcome-driven scopes of work and commercial models that protect the business. From rate cards to performance-based pricing, you’ll ensure full transparency and accountability.
- Sourcing Excellence: Drive the development of sustainable long-term sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships.
- Bachelor ’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in a Senior Sourcing or Procurement role
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and suggest improvements to contracts, statements of work, and other legal agreements
- Exposure to internal control systems in a multidivisional organization
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Procure-to-pay experience is an asset
