- Be a technical leader within and across the teams you work with.
- Drive high impact architectural decisions and hands-on development, including inception, design, execution, and delivery following good design and coding practices
- Obsessively focus on production readiness for the team including testing, monitoring, deployment, documentation and proactive troubleshooting.
- Identify risks and gaps in technical approaches and propose solutions to meet team and project goals
- Advise engineering and product management on AI platform technical roadmap, ensuring that the vision aligns with broader company objectives
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence and strengthen the technical expertise of our AI engineering and product teams
- Keep current on AI engineering technology trends, evaluate, work on proof-of-concept and make recommendations on the technologies based on their merit
- Collaborate with Product Managers (PM) and Experience Designers (XD) and MLS to balance cost-effectiveness with business value and prioritize engineering solutions accordingly.
- Mentor and coach engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices to drive engineering excellence.
- Foster adoption of new technologies, platforms, and architectural solutions across the team.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in designing and building scalable platforms
- Hands on experience in integrating ML/AI system
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong software engineering skills (Java, Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, Docker, Kubernetes
- Expertise in microservices architecture for highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to define a future state vision, lead large-scale architectural solutions, and guide step-by-step execution.
- Passion for leading cross-functional projects, driving collaboration, and influencing design decisions to enhance customer experience and scalability.
- Tenacity for learning - curious, and constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible.
- GenAI experience: working with LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, prompt tuning, or real-time AI inference optimization, or model evaluation tools
- Agentic AI expertise: familiarity or hands-on experience with frameworks enabling autonomous agents-ReAct, Reflective Loops, tool-using agents, multi-agent systems - coordination, or distributed AI architectures
- ML architecture: model fine-tuning, LLM evaluation, reinforcement learning, memory mechanisms, and agent orchestration
- Understanding of agentic AI governance, trust, risk, and security frameworks4
