- Provide planning, consulting, technical analysis, design, deployment, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and daily support of middleware products.
- Experience with applications servers
- Experience with DataPower XML Gateway
- Experience with messaging services
- Experience with adapters
- Experience with development framework/technologies
- Experience in middleware software installation, configuration, tuning and administration, as well as experience with application development
- Experience with change management and release management as processes supporting the implementation of large applications
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience producing design artefacts, code, configurations, scripts, and test cases Ability to analyze the results from functional, security, load-and -stress testing and resolve reported issues
- Ability to analyze and solve data integrity, security, configuration and recovery issues
- Assess and test Change Requests (CRQ) with technical content and updating as necessary
- Ability to participate in release promotions/implementations
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience on application monitoring and support
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Experience with DataPower XML Gateway
- Hands-on experience debugging DataPower transactions.
- Experience creating complex Web Service
- Experience with Unix scripting & deployment automation
- Experience with DataPower security, security policies, authentication, and authorization.
- Previous Public Sector is an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
- Knowledge of portal services
- Knowledge of GO- PKI Security Infrastructure
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- Experience conducting system monitoring and performance and data integrity in accordance with ITIL standards
- Experience sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products: Windows Internet Information Server (IIS) IBM HTTP Server, Apache IBM WebSphere Oracle Database 11g (and later) Oracle Director Server Enterprise Edition Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux
Middleware Technologies - 30%
- Experience with WebSphere Applications server, WebSphere Portal, Process Server, DataPower
- Experience designing DataPower integration solutions;
- Experience creating complex Web Service proxies;
- Experience creating multi-protocol gateways with complex policies and rules;
- Experience with DataPower security, security policies, authentication and authorization;
- Hands-on experience debugging DataPower transactions;
- Hands-on experience with DataPower operations, monitoring, deployment policies, backup and restore
- Hands-on experience debugging DataPower transactions;

- Experience with the BPS Enterprise Service Management processes (Incident, Change, Release management)
- Knowledge of the BPS support organizations / Clusters and corporate services
