- Salary - $81,000 - $90 000.00 + 10% Night Shift Premium (while in this position)
- This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily activities on the production floor.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to achieve optimal performance.
- Foster a safety-first culture through crew talks and strict adherence to GMP and regulatory protocols.
- Provide hands-on support with machine troubleshooting and operator guidance.
- Manage and support WCB claims in collaboration with employees and HR, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
- Maximize equipment utilization, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure smooth communication and seamless shift handovers.
- Uphold GMP, ISO 9001, OSHA, food safety, and quality standards.
- Flex across shifts when required to support business continuity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing WCB claims and supporting safe, timely return-to-work processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; maintenance supervision experience is an asset.
- Solid understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.
