- Ensure maintenance programs and support services and that the Regional Hubs operate with 99.95% uptime and availability, reliability and consistency across the Purolator network
- Develop, manage, inspect and oversee Material Handling Equipment / Conveyor maintenance programs to ensure availability and reliability, work order completion and performance
- Coordinate/plan schedules for outside contractor repairs
- Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment so as to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment
- Monitor repairs completed by employees for quality standards and productivity requirements
- Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect operations
- Ensure Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) standardization, formatting & content development
- Any other responsibilities as designated by maintenance manager
- Willing to work on different shifts based on business needs
- Degree or other equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or
- 5 years experience in a supervisory role, supervising and managing skilled trades (i.e., welders, millwrights, electricians, mechanics).
- 5 years experience working with Conveyor systems in a high-volume, 24x7, high-speed package sortation environment;
- General health & safety knowledge
- Proficiency in reliability tools/methods such as: PHA, FMEA, CA, SFMEA, MI, FTA, ETA, plus data analysis (SPC, reliability modeling/prediction, Weibull, Six Sigma).
