Posted by:OnlineWe are a warm, busy family of four (two parents and two girls aged 6 and 9) looking for a reliable, trustworthy housekeeper to become a long-term part of our home. We have a 4-bedroom, 2-storey house in Montreal with a yard and front garden. You would work weekdays while we are out, with flexible scheduling. The role starts at 15-20 hours per week, with the potential for more hours depending on what you enjoy and are able to take on. The core role This is first and foremost a housekeeping position. What we need most: Thorough, regular cleaning of the full house - both floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas Laundry for a family of four - washing, drying, folding, putting away Ironing as needed Changing and laundering bed linens on a regular rotation An initial deep clean, followed by ongoing maintenance (with deeper tasks on rotation : appliances, baseboards, windows, etc.) For the right person, there is more. If you are someone who is naturally organized and likes to take initiative, there is real scope to grow this role with additional hours that come with it: Organizing kids' rooms, toys, and clothing (seasonal rotation as they grow) Drop-off and pick-up at a nearby dry cleaner (walking distance) Keeping an eye on the home and flagging things that need attention Helping coordinate tradespeople or maintenance when needed Tidying and organization of outdoor spaces Seasonal decorating and removal of decorations Gardening, lawn mowing, tending to outdoor spaces - winterizing and getting ready for season changes Helping with preparation and organization of events, parties held in the home None of these are required from day one, but if this sounds like the kind of role you would thrive in, we would love to hear from you.
