- Lead the process for selecting and prioritizing projects and programs that directly support the University's strategic goals and capacity constraints. Ensure all projects contribute to desired business outcomes.
- Manage and oversee the overall enterprise project portfolio budget, including capital and operating expenses. Provide insights into portfolio spend, capacity, and risk to facilitate informed financial decisions
- Create, maintain, and implement standardized project, program, and portfolio management methodologies
- Hire, manage, coach, and mentor a team of project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, and analysts.
- Partner with a variety of teams across the university to ensure integrated planning and alignment of business-led initiatives with technology roadmaps and dependencies.
- Implement mechanisms to track performance and capture lessons learned from projects for deeper analysis and future improvements.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Project Management, Information Systems).
- Project Management Professional certification.
- 10+ years of experience in project management is standard, with a focus on large-scale projects or programs.
- 5+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, particularly managing project managers or a PMO.
- In-depth understanding of project portfolio management (PPM), project lifecycle management, and program governance.

- Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
- Understanding of risk, financial, and resource management in a project context.

- Leadership and people management, with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
