What its like to be a Manager of Data Operations at Northbridge FinancialThe Manager II, Data, Database Ops, and Regulatory is responsible for taking a senior leadership role on data projects, driving a combined team of Managers, BSAs, Scrum Masters and Data Engineers. The Manager II will work with business, EPMO, IT leadership, teams and partners to identify needs, define execution strategies, and guide the delivery of new data solutions using agile/waterfall delivery methodologies.We want your talent!If you’re great at:
  • Set department goals aligning with the supervisor and IT portfolio. Collaborate and devise plans as required for data ingestions, third-party data sourcing, data integrations to support database operations and regulatory data needs.
  • Provide technical expertise, best practices, and advice to the team on the design, development, and implementation of complex IT software engineering solutions.
  • Interface with business systems analysts, solution designers, IT architects, and other business stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement necessary solutions.
  • Drive the design and development of IT data solutions in a complex IT environment with numerous interconnected or disparate networking components.
  • Elevate team performance by encouraging and rewarding focused and consistent engagement, overseeing and enhancing operational procedures, and managing budgets and staffing to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance job performance.
You have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience.
  • Project/Program management experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Systems, design, development, and operations.
  • Minimum 8 years of supervisory/management experience required, including experience leading a team of Managers, BSA, Data Engineers, Scrum Masters.
