- Set department goals aligning with the supervisor and IT portfolio. Collaborate and devise plans as required for data ingestions, third-party data sourcing, data integrations to support database operations and regulatory data needs.
- Provide technical expertise, best practices, and advice to the team on the design, development, and implementation of complex IT software engineering solutions.
- Interface with business systems analysts, solution designers, IT architects, and other business stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement necessary solutions.
- Drive the design and development of IT data solutions in a complex IT environment with numerous interconnected or disparate networking components.
- Elevate team performance by encouraging and rewarding focused and consistent engagement, overseeing and enhancing operational procedures, and managing budgets and staffing to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance job performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience.
- Project/Program management experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Systems, design, development, and operations.
- Minimum 8 years of supervisory/management experience required, including experience leading a team of Managers, BSA, Data Engineers, Scrum Masters.
