Location: Nelson, ,British ColumbiaWhat you will be doing:Lead and coordinate all roofing and sheet metal field operations, including supervising foremen, crew leads, and the Sheet Metal Manager.Plan and execute daily and weekly crew schedules, job sequencing, labour allocation, and logistics, adjusting for weather, staffing, and site conditions.Ensure jobs are properly planned, staffed, equipped, and executed, serving as the primary escalation point for operational issues.Oversee material ordering and delivery to ensure accurate quantities, timely supply, and minimal waste while maintaining strong supplier relationships.Manage, mentor, and support foremen and crew leads, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and day-to-day HR matters.Promote training, certification, apprenticeship programs, and ongoing career development to build a skilled, reliable, and engaged workforce.What you must have:Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) preferredStrong experience in roofing, sheet metal, or construction operationsProven leadership of field crews and supervisorsExcellent planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of labour productivity and marginsClear communicator with a hands-on leadership styleStrong conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities.Salary/Rate Range: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
