- Carry out light to medium repairs, demolition, and general cleaning tasks as required;
- Cut, measure, and install job-related materials in accordance with the scope of work;
- Safely operate hand and power tools, ensuring proper use and maintenance;
- Assist Journeyman and Apprentice tradespeople, ensuring work aligns with measurements, specifications, drawings, and plans;
- Proactively communicate job site conditions and any concerns affecting project completion to the appropriate personnel;
- Participate in activities such as vehicle safety inspections, maintaining clean and serviceable vehicles, constructing polyethylene enclosures, emergency board-ups, debris removal, and equipment maintenance, as required;
- Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating attention to detail and safeguarding clients' property and information;
- Assist with water/flood and contents duties as required;
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, participating in safety training and demonstrating an understanding of safety principles and practices;
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by conducting hazard assessments, maintaining organized and hazard-free job sites, and ensuring proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and PPE. Promptly report and document unsafe conditions or incidents, actively participate in safety training and inspections, and support organizational safety initiatives as directed by the Health and Safety Department; and
- Comply with all Belfor policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
