Institutional Securities Technology (IST) is one of the six divisions within the Technology organization. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets and Operations, for whom we develop and oversee technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Within IST, our department focuses on all elements of a comprehensive Data Strategy including Data Governance, Data Quality, Analytics, Security & Privacy, and Architecture. The team works across all product lines in Trading & Sales and also with partners in Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Regulatory.Skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills must have attention to detail and quality.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft tools, Sharepoint, jive, confluence and JIRA, team collaboration via online tools
- Understand technical solutions and apply them in similar situations; though not a coding position, the candidate needs to be able to work at an API and configuration level. Any exposure to AI capabilities is a plus (not required).
- Expresses and influences complex ideas and deliverables in a simple way. Polished and articulated in their messaging.
- Demonstrates initiative, judgment and decision making; someone that is present and can handle multiple priorities. Demonstration of working independently.
- Also has the knack to work collaboratively and can propose ideas and concepts. Ownership and accountability are pride she/he takes seriously.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts of cataloging, ownership, lineage, and data quality
- Experience working in a global team matrixed organization in multiple locations ideally in the finance industry.
- Familiar with data governance and regulatory requirements a plus (BCBS239, GDPR, CCPA, ECB Testing, etc).
- Preferred: Banking and Financial Services industry, with previous experience as a Business or Data Analyst with strong communication written and verbal
