Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Saturday to Wednesday: 3:30pm to 12:00am
Pay Rate: $26/hourWhat's the Job?
- Plan, organize, and adjust daily delivery and pickup routes based on volumes, priorities, and operational constraints.
- Assign drivers to routes and loads, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Book and confirm same-day and next-day delivery appointments
- Ensure drivers leave on time with complete and accurate route information.
- Monitor deliveries in real time to maintain strong on-time performance.
- React quickly to delays, service disruptions, and last-minute changes.
- Perform seasonal planning and mapping for trailers, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate loading and unloading.
- Coordinate with the evening team on trailer and vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Proven experience in dispatch, transportation supervision, or operational roles.
- Strong understanding of local and interprovincial transportation operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical decision-making ability.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Comfortable working with systems, tracking tools, and operational cost data.
