- Identify key growth categories to support product development on a 2- year out track, leveraging the long range planning process to provide key insights to planning and merchandising leaders based on current trends.
- Develop forecasts / seasonal plans based on trends and opportunities. Focus effort to support future growth initiatives and product visions.
- Partner closely withcross functional teams, including supply chain, merchandising, design, productdevelopmentand regional planning,toinform product creation and strategic decision making.
- Partner with Regional teams to analyze current business. Apply knowledge to forward-looking plans or forecast to drive meaningful growth strategies.
- Oversee a rolling 24-month demand forecasts across multiple core or new products; leverage forecast to supportSupplyPlanning team in building out Raw Material& Finished Goods capacity requirements.
- Initiates and delivers process improves for Global Merchandise Planning across key GTM gates.
- Actively capture opportunities and mitigate risk within the business - focus on protecting and enhancing guest experience with our products and brand.
- Provides coaching, guidance, and resources to junior team members to help them succeed.
- College certificate or University degree is required, preferably in Commerce or Business Administration
- 5-8 Years of Planning experience or progressive financial analysis and reporting experience
- Expert knowledge of Excel is required
- Proven track-record of driving results; demonstration of strong financial & business acumen for inventory management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to reprioritize as needed
- Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal), with a proven ability to influence others
- Self-directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful
- Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback to manager and junior team members
