We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.As a Regional Manager, Marketing & Communications, your responsibilities will include:
  • Plan, lead, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to firm objectives and within budget. This includes ideation, planning, communication with and buy-in from key stakeholders, content curation, tactical execution, internal and external communications, tracking and reporting on KPIs
  • Lead various marketing initiatives across the region. This includes, but is not limited to, email marketing, event marketing, content marketing, and sponsorship marketing
  • Lead other special projects in western Canada as needed
  • Review analytics from campaigns and other assets and provide suggestions for increasing efficiencies, improving engagement, and expanding our market reach
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and the needs of their clients, and make strategic recommendations that demonstrate a strong understanding of the problem or business need and that align to the needs of the firm and the client
  • Build trust and rapport with the greater marketing team across the firm to identify opportunities to increase brand awareness for the region, improve workflow processes, and elevate the effectiveness of the regional marketing team
  • Understand the various touch points and stages of a sale cycle in professional services and identify, plan, develop, and lead the right marketing tactic to help drive a positive purchase decision
  • Maintain cumulative project reporting summary, including successes and lessons learned, digital analytics and budget updates to be used for leadership updates and future planning
  • Function like a consultant to internal clients, bringing value to the entire marketing process. Educate them on the role of marketing, including the processes and required inputs to produce effective campaigns and how to plan for periods of high demand. Share ideas and ask questions including who the target audience is and what they want them to think, feel, do, or say as a result of a campaign
  • Being an advocate for marketing with internal clients. Educate them on the role of marketing, including the processes and required inputs to produce effective campaigns and how to plan for periods of high demand
  • Ensure that our culture and brand voice is reflected in all external communications
  • Actively participate in working groups to deliver national and regional campaigns
  • Be a champion in the use of the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Content Management System (CMS), Project Management System (PMS) and other marketing enablement technology to manage campaigns and track ROI
  • Act as a brand ambassador. Collaborate with national marketing & communications team, regional marketing managers to ensure brand integrity and consistency across all external and internal marketing activities including advertising, presentations, sponsorship, social media, communications, and event materials
  • Remain knowledgeable of firm marketing strategy, programs and campaigns to leverage in your projects and campaigns
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the firm’s services and markets by proactively bringing forward creative ideas that elevate our marketing campaigns and drive engagement
with our brand
  • Perform other duties as required under the guidance of the Regional Senior Marketing Managers
  • Travel will be required (when appropriate)

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing communications and people management, in a B2B environment, preferably professional services
  • Strong business acumen with proven experience connecting marketing initiatives to business objectives
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform in a fast-moving and deadline-oriented environment to deliver quality results
  • Resourceful and critical thinker who consistently brings forward creative solutions that meet client needs
  • Exceptional and effective written and verbal communication skills, and apply tact and discretion when communicating with others
  • Results driven and willing to learn and to seek continuous improvement in quality and efficiency in everything you do
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRMs and marketing enablement tools
  • Intellectual curiosity that drives you to look further, broader, deeper. Strong desire to improve processes, and comfortable using technology
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel (when appropriate) is considered an asset
