- Develop and execute the North America marketing plan within the region aimed at Applus+ brand promotion and engagement with clients, community, employees, and the general public along with Applus+ Corporate requirements.
- Develop and execute the digital marketing plan at a local level. This includes managing all the social media channels for all regional brands to ensure constant online Applus+ positive brand promotion and engagement in conjunction with the functional departments of Recruitment, Safety, Human Resources, and other departments.
- Manage and update Company websites in conjunction with Divisional and Corporate requirements and policies.
- Manage all marketing related activities including recruitment, safety, and other functional departments promotional materials, in accordance with divisional guidelines.
- Work together with local operations for event planning include client specific events, company promotional events, community involvement events and conferences; seek appropriate approvals before plan execution and as per local DLA’s.
- Develop and work with Human Resources on Applus+ brand initiatives and promotions such as diversity outreach programs, local sponsorships, etc.
- Manage the participation and attendance at tradeshows and conferences, including event planning, coordination, promotion, and successful execution.
- Manage, develop and implement the Company’s internal communications and provide support to any local project in terms of communications planning and management. This includes all Safety, Human Resources, and general internal.
- Execute the internal communications plan at the local level including participation in the divisional and corporate global newsletters.
- Must maintain a strong focus on collaboration and cross functional teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally.
- Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and Company policy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results in partnership with human resources; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed
- Review, validate, and approve reporting employees’ timesheet and reports.
- Adheres to organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to Applus Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies, techniques and applications to enhance employer brand and presence.
- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Knowledge of operational practices and services in the non-destructive testing and inspection industry, preferred.
- Ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse groups of people seeking input and cooperation for all parties.

- A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in marketing including social media management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in developing communication materials and programs, in oil and gas preferred
- The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- The work is primarily sedentary.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- Work outside of normal business hours will be occasionally required (including overtime and weekends).
- Overtime required during the week and weekend with work volume.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedules and respond to requests without advance warning or notification.
- Occasional to frequent travel will be required within Canada.
- Ability to travel when required, internationally, up to 20% of the time.
