
Payroll, Benefits and Reporting Administrator

- Process and transmit semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including journal entries, coding, and deductions.
- Prepare and submit government remittances, including T4s, T4As, WSIB, and EHT.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Administer the agency's group benefits plan, including medical, dental, disability, and HCSA.
- Act as the primary liaison with benefits providers, ensuring accurate enrolments, changes, and terminations.
- Reconcile benefits and pension contributions and process updates within HRIS systems.
- Extract and analyze payroll and benefits data for government grants and funders.
- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting, collaborating with the Finance Manager.
- Provide year-end payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of payroll processing and benefits administration experience.
- Working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll/HRIS software.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll tax laws and compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
