Estimated TA support: 60 hoursSessional dates of appointment: May 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026Salary:-Sessional Lecturer I $9,820.70-Sessional Lecturer I Long Term $10,510.04-Sessional Lecturer II $10,510.04-Sessional Lecturer II Long Term $10,760.28-Sessional Lecturer III $10,760.28-Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $11,030.36Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (or related design discipline) and relevant professional experience in design.Preferred qualifications: We are seeking applicants with a professional degree in architecture (Master's or Bachelor's) and a record of teaching architectural design at the undergraduate or graduate level. Demonstrated experience in architectural practice is an asset. Demonstrated design excellence is desired and will be evaluated through consideration of professional experience, design awards (if applicable), and a 1-2 page portfolio.Description of duties: Normal duties associated with the design and teaching of university degree courses or sections of courses. These may include the preparation and delivery of course content, including lectures and/or seminars; the development and administration of assignments, tests and examinations; the marking and grading of student work and the submission of grades to appropriate University officials in accordance with policy; the maintenance of reasonable hours of student contact outside of scheduled contact hours; and the supervision of the day-to-day work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.
