- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare variance analysis with clear explanations and actionable insights.
- Partner with department leaders to understand cost drivers, revenue trends, and operational performance.
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports and dashboards for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.
- Track and monitor key financial and operational KPIs to support performance management.
- Ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
- Act as a trusted financial partner to business leaders, supporting planning, performance tracking, and decision-making.
- Assist leaders in understanding financial results and the financial impact of operational decisions.
- Support pricing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial reporting and planning assumptions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities.
- Support enhancements to financial systems, tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Assist with financial governance, controls, and documentation as required
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Experience working with ERP and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar systems) is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or progress toward one) is an asset.
