Join our dynamic team and contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact across the globe.The Systems Engineering Analyst is part of the Raytheon ELCAN Engineering team working cross functionally and across multiple complex programs. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and coordinating systems engineering activities to ensure compliance to the requirements and traceability of the requirements from concept to qualification.   • Demonstrate leadership in programs requiring technical coordination across multiple disciplines
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support/prepare documentation for compliance and other technical deliverables
  • Review and edit technical documentation and proposals
  • Manage requirements and the traceability to results
  • Work to ensure intellectual property is protected
  • Generate and execute test plans
  • Work closely with customers to define requirements and support trade-off discussions
  • Support Jurisdiction and Classification of technical hardware and data
  • Other job responsibilities as required.

  • Training in Configuration Management systems and/or Requirements Management an asset

  • Analytical and reasoning; decision making with business acumen
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property an asset
  • Knowledge of the Controlled Goods Program and/or Jurisdiction and Classification an asset
  • Knowledge of optical systems an asset
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD and ISO specifications an asset
Education & Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other appropriate technical education or experience equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working experience in the defense industry or in an optics related field is an asset.
