
HR Business Partner, People & Culture - ESS

- Consult with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals, driving performance, engagement, and retention.
- Embed yourself in the business, with a strong focus on client and customer service, ensuring HR solutions are practical and business-relevant.
- Provide expert guidance across all HR disciplines including:
- Employee and Union relations
- Talent and performance management
- Workforce planning
- Career development
- Employment law and compliance
- Lead the implementation of People & Culture programs that enhance productivity, efficiency, and team cohesion.
- Act as a leadership coach, fostering trust and open dialogue to elevate leadership capability.
- Interpret and advise on collective agreements.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure compliance with sector-specific regulations and programs.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a strong foundation in employee relations and labor relations.
- Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in remote or camp-based environments is an asset.
- Willingness to travel to a remote camp in Northern BC as required (travel allowance and/or chartered flights provided).
