OverviewThe New Business & Creative Awards Manager plays a central role in how Leo Toronto shows up externally, in competitive pitch moments and across major industry award shows.This is a highly organized, detail-driven junior role that supports both our Strategic Growth and Creative teams. You will help manage the operational engine behind RFP submissions, pitch processes, and award entries, ensuring every deck, case study, category submission, and file is accurate, polished, and delivered on time.This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants deep exposure to agency operations, creative excellence, and new business, and who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
ResponsibilitiesNew Business & Pitch Operations
- Support the internal lifecycle of pitches and RFPs, from intake to submission.
- Build timelines, workbacks, and task trackers to keep teams aligned and on schedule.
- Coordinate across strategy, creative, design, production, and leadership to ensure deliverables are complete and compliant.
- Help organize pitch meetings, rehearsals, and run-throughs.
- Manage and update pitch materials including decks, bios, credentials, and case studies.
- Ensure submissions meet all client requirements and formatting specifications.
- Maintain and evolve a centralized pitch library for future opportunities.
- Assist in post-pitch debriefs and documentation of learnings.
- Manage submission of creative work into local and global award shows.
- Build entry lists and ensure work is entered into the most strategic and appropriate categories.
- Track deadlines, submission requirements, and results across all shows.
- Coordinate with creative teams and leadership to gather assets, case films, boards, and written credits.
- Work with internal and external production partners on case study video production and file conversions.
- Manage logistics including show fees, print orders, trophy orders, and digital asset delivery.
- Maintain internal databases housing creative assets and award history.
- Relay results, feedback, and scores to creative and brand team leadership.
- 2–4 years of experience in agency coordination, project management, creative operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing clarity or composure.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-first mindset, you calmly chase what’s needed to get things done.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and diverse personalities across the agency.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Figma is an asset.
- An interest in advertising, creative craft, and how great work wins, both in pitches and on stage.
