Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support testing activities across the delivery and product management life cycle of a large-scale, public-sector I&IT initiative. The successful consultant will contribute to ensuring application quality, accessibility, and reliability by executing functional, non-functional, and system-level testing while working closely with project managers, test leads, developers, and business stakeholders.ScopeAssist in the development of test strategies and test plansPrepare test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and regression test casesExecute test activities including functional, data, stress/load, and AODA accessibility testingIdentify, log, reconcile, and track system and functional defects.Assignment DeliverablesReview functional and design specifications to fully understand deliverablesIdentify test requirements and develop comprehensive test coverage plansDevelop, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, test data, and validation artefactsExecute manual (and where applicable automated) test cases and report results.Expertise RequiredMust Have:5+ years of demonstrated Quality Assurance and testing experienceProven experience with defect tracking using collaborative tools to manage defects and change requestsHands-on experience with technologies such as SharePoint, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, COTS, SaaS, and Cloud-based applicationsExperience executing functional, non-functional, data, regression, and system integration testing.Nice to Have:Experience managing the defect life cycle, conducting triage sessions, and reporting outcomesExperience working closely with both business clients and technical teams to resolve defects and manage change requests.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
