Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support large-scale, enterprise systems within a regulated, Public Sector environment. The successful consultant will contribute to quality assurance strategy, manual and automated testing execution, and continuous quality improvement across mission-critical applications, ensuring compliance with Public Service standards, policies, and accessibility legislation.ScopeProvide advice and input into testing strategies, test plans, tools selection, and resourcing requirementsPlan and organize testing efforts for large enterprise systems in both GUI and non-GUI environmentsExecute system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and specialized testing including stress, load, and performance testingCollaborate with testing leads, IT leads, developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the SDLC.Assignment DeliverablesApproved testing strategy and detailed test plans aligned with Public Sector standardsComprehensive manual test cases, automated test scripts, and test data mapped to business requirementsRequirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) ensuring full test coverageExecuted functional, integration, regression, UAT, and non-functional test results.Expertise RequiredMust Have:5+ years' experience developing Test Cases/Scripts and Data Requirements, develop test scenarios, test cases for manual testing5+ years' experience develops test cases/scripts as well as test data, ensuring all of the Business requirements are met by creating a traceability matrix.Previous experience working in Public Sector organizations.Experience with agile methodologyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills2+ years of experience in developing and testing software applications using automated testingKnowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Katalon, Selenium, Appium).Nice to Have:Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunnerKnowledge of object-oriented testing methodologies.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
